Dr. Jonathan G. Marquess, PharmD, CDE, FAPhA

Jonathan and his wife Pam are the owners of ten community pharmacies and one Long Term Care Pharmacy in Georgia. In addition, Dr. Marquess, is the President/CEO of The Institute for Wellness and Education, a Disease Management Company. Before assuming his current position, Dr. Marquess was a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Mercer University School of Pharmacy in Atlanta.
Jonathan specializes in diabetes care and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University. Dr. Marquess is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and Certified Insulin Pump/Sensor Trainer (CPT). In 2015, Dr. Marquess was awarded the status of Fellow by the APhA.
Throughout his career, Dr. Marquess has been actively involved in local, state, and national professional organizations. Recently, Marquess was elected as an NCPA officer. He is a Past President of the Georgia Pharmacy Association (GPhA). In March of 2016, Dr. Marquess was awarded the Daniel B. Smith Practice Excellence Award. In 2012, Marquess was named Independent Pharmacist of the Year from GPhA. In 2008, Marquess was awarded the Innovative Pharmacist of the Year from GPhA.
